Sultry

Following overnight strong winds and a bit of rain things returned to December normal this morning.
The temperature today got to 23c and because The B's had a social engagement to play Croquet and Petanque in M and C's lovely garden and these are ball games and I am a dog I went out for an early stickathon "Cos I was not invited to the shindig with the balls. I guess they don't trust me. Maybe they are right?
I have heard stories of my predecessor Maggie the Golden who retrieved Croquet balls really well. She particularly liked the big hits as they presented more challenge but she always got them. Hmmmmm?
So early out to The Outlet track to beat the windy morning and the sky was doing a very presentable sultry thing so it got the shot of the day award.
Skies like this usually mean wind and today was right on the button.
So the B's went out and played and I stayed home and alternated, sun...shade etc...you know the brief by now and everyone had a lovely afternoon and The Bossess proved a dab hand at chucking Petanque balls about too in spite of her wounded wing.

Hi Ho Sliver ...Away!
