The tale of the broken button...

He'd waited long enough...his hints had fallen on deaf ears, he wasn't going to ask, he was going to have to do it himself..and he did, only he did it with extraordinary strength, more than he has ever shown in real life and forgot the first rule of button sewing. YER GOTS TER LEAVE A BIT O SLACK AT THE BACK OF THE BUTTON FOR THE BUTTON HOLE TO SIT.

To be fair it lasted a day or two before it burst...he was quite proud that his sewing was still in tacked!
