It was dark.

We were chatting away to my folks when all of a sudden we were in darkness. It’s amazing how difficult it is to get your bearings and find things like matches when the light just disappears.

Fortunately no new bruises for me but Shiv was traumatised by the sudden appearance of flickering lights.
