Nine Puppies Playing!

Yes, you read that right - nine puppies - Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blixen and Rudolph!!!  Our Dogs Trust coordinator texted us yesterday in desperation and asked if we could look after this lot for a week to ten days!  They are labrador/collie cross pups and all have forever homes to go to but not until the middle of next week or so.  They are nine weeks old and arrived here about an hour and a half ago.  They've had their first feed (chaos) and done the necessary after wards (also chaos!) and are now beginning to settle down.  They will all sleep together in their little crate tonight and fingers crossed we can survive for the next few days! 

Our reward for looking after them (and they are so cute!) will be a lovely lurcher or greyhound to foster over the Christmas period!

My extra is of little Comet sitting on Mr Sk's lap as he is the runt of the litter and having a bit of trouble with his back legs.  We've been told to keep an eye on him as he is quieter than the others - and so utterly adorable.  Can you tell I'm smitten!!
