St Nicholas

This guy joined our family from the Ismailovsky market in Moscow during the summer of 2004. St Nick is the patron saint of Russia.

He comes out of storage every year about this time when Christmas shopping begins. Christmas shopping began today on a warm day. Late or early...your choice. Quite a different experience in Santa Fe.

Why shoot St Nick? I'm in a photo class with U of NM continuing ed.; the subject is "light." I have only one light source and thought I need the practice with it. St Nick is available.
