Over and under and twisted

Sandy Beach was pumping today, winds about 15 - 25 mph, waves only 2 - 4 ft, but picking up with some backwash in spots.  Sunny, windy - absolutely gorgeous.   Beach is still 3-tiered with the ocean side deepening.  The joys of watching the action still have me smiling.   Got one of a wave cresting the beach tier in about four spots with a froth of foam, but I'm down to one remaining extra for the year.   Next year  . . . 

Couldn't resist adding the mystery woman  in extras.   Don't recall seeing anyone dressed like her near or in the water, the adjacent shots are merely waves,  mermaid  perhaps?
