Friends forever

Today started with a pancake breakfast at the Cracker Barrel restaurant with my good friends (in order from left to right) Melody, me, Brenda and Sandra.  We all started working at the electric cooperative in 1977,  became friends and are still friends even though we are retired except for  Melody who  is still working...we don't know why..she just loves her job.  But today when we spent the whole day out together, I think she is seriously thinking about retiring.   She just keeps putting it off even though her hubby has been retired about three years.   But a long breakfast, laughs, shopping together and just killing a whole day with fun really means more than sitting at a desk answering a phone.  

We already have another outing planned for next month..we found out about a newly opened antique/junk store.   Our kind of place!!
