Flitting

A full day with our volunteer leaders from across Scotland. Very appropriate on international volunteers day. We were discussing policy changes and how we might manage the extra activity that comes with them. And looking forward to new opportunities for training and learning.

In the evening our son and I went round to my late mother-in-law’s flat which had been our home for 7 months. The last piece of furniture needed to be taken out before the flat goes on the market. Despite being imitation Jacobean (apparently) it was very heavy. Fortunately we got it down the stairs and into the back of the car.

No one seems to want it. We have one charity shop to reply otherwise it is off to the tip.
