St. John's Christmas Tree festival - Knaresborough
On the rainiest day in a while we decided upon a trip to Knaresborough to see the exhibits in the annual Christmas tree festival in St. John's Church. I blipped this last year too, but the displays are always different. It was very busy inside, which may have had something to do with people taking refuge from the weather. I had to pick my moments carefully to take any shots that didn't get 'photo-bombed'.
There were just over 100 trees of wide ranging designs and creativity on display which have been created by local community groups and businesses.
In todays extras, we have the '100 Year World War One Endtree' which was my favourite.
The second extra is a montage of three; 'Emmeline' by Cancer Research UK, 'Winter Delight in Glass', and the 'Christmouse Tree House' by Scriven Scouts.
