Leicester Print Workshop
Today I visited the very wonderful Leicester Print Workshop. The presses are diverse and amazing providing facilities for a plethora of techniques and genres of print making. I loved it. These are the casts used on the gallery press, I made a print of a map cast we found in the many draws. It turned out to be a highly intricate map of part of the River Thames in Berkshire. Random but hugely rewarding.
Reason for attending; Today marks the start of a collaboration with Seven / Five and LPW. Working in pairs we have a show in May 2013... All the time between pure symbiotic process. No expectations or prescribed formula for an outcome. Simply seeing where the road takes us.. Some exciting work is ahead I feel.
