Over the Top

The Cafe Royal has really gone over the top with its Christmas decorations this year!
We were in for lunch, meeting up with Takaya before he headed back down to London for a few days. I had a slight enunciation problem with the waitress when my 2 pints of Deuchers became 2 pints of Dark Horse but a lunchtime stout is OK and Takaya didn't seem to mind.
Home to wrap the last present (an Amazon delivery hasn't arrived so a hasty replacement was procured this morning), all now ready to drop off at big S's, along with the cake and pudding. It's nice to have everything done & dusted!
Then it was time to drop off the goldfish with J again for their holidays and head out with him & G for some excellent scran at the Educated Flea, a new place for us but I suspect we'll be back!
