Salisbury font

Popped into Salisbury this afternoon to do a bit of shopping and see if I could get a few ideas for Christmas presents. Shopping was successful, present ideas somewhat less so. Thinking cap needs to go on. I discovered that the Salisbury Christmas Market was on; it was quite nice poking about the stalls - which was possible, unlike the Christmas Market in Bath!

Before heading home I wondered down to the cathedral. I haven't been inside (other than to go to evensong occasionally) to do the tourist thing for years. The font is amazing - I'll have to head back in the new year when the nave is clear again and take a tripod with me.
