tree trunks in the sun

Did parkrun this morning and it wasn't muddy! - all the mud was frozen.
In the afternoon we went for a walk round Crombie Country Park where the path goes through a variety of habitats, including these trees.
We met son, d-in-law and grandson no3 there after I'd done a short run to try my new trail shoes (I managed to find some mud).
Then to their place for a haggis supper - joint b'day celebration for yesterday for Mr Rat and d-in-law.
