Xmas cake ready

I decided to decorate with candied fruit this year as people don’t really like marzipan. Hope they like this!
I met Jenny in town for lunch. She was annoyed at her neighbours as they had cut down the Leylandii hedge alongside her drive against her wishes. Seemed like a good idea to me!
We had a great Turkish meze lunch with a glass of wine by making it our Xmas meal!
Jenny really enjoyed the book group volume ‘Gillespie. And I’ and without spoiling the ending for me she suggested that I have missed the point so far so I will finish it with more attention to detail and see if I can get it!!
