.......and relax. A busy day, with Nancy in particular putting in a big shift on the brush strokes to complete the kitchen and hall. Then a major cull of books (not easy to part with some old friends), but we need the space. I'm really pleased we're just about there and if work will just behave itself, we'll have a nice run into Christmas.

This used to be my malt whisky glass, but in these austere times, one must make the best of things. This is a superb single cask 10 year old from Grangemouth distillery, bottled by B&Q.
