The water isn't as deep this morning!!

We went down to the bridge crossing the river Severn in Worcester this morning. The water level had dropped by about 4-5ft since yesterday, but the roadside was still waterlogged. There were swans swimming in the river and a few feet away there were swans walking on the road.

I was impressed to see a council worker cleaning the mud off the road. A man from the Swan Sanctuary was feeding the birds and checking to see that they were all in good health.

They looked beautiful in the bright sunlight.
