Sensor sensibility

When my little Sony started to collect dust on its sensor, I reluctantly stopped using it - not wanting to send it for repair whilst hating the fact that pictures had blemishes on them.
The other day I started to take it to bits but bottled out not far in and put it back together. Then I reasoned that either way it’d sit on the shelf for being imperfect or broken. So I took it to bits and got to the sensor and cleaned. Today I noticed it still had a few motes clinging on so I took it to bits again and was completely undaunted. Knowledge is power!
