It gets dark so early

This afternoon Ann had a few little jobs to do, so it was almost 3.30pm by the time I got my walk. By 3.30pm in Scotland, it's practically dark. I had a good run about on Musselburgh Links and then she made me pose on this wall with Edinburgh in the background. However, Ann is always a bit worried when she lets me off my lead in the fading light because I don't see very well these days. Keeping an eye on Ann is difficult at the best of times as she always wears her black coat for dog walking.


Perhaps she should get a brighter coat? In fact she keeps walking past a local shop which has the most fabulous purple & red coat in the window. The other day she checked out the price................ £289???  How can anyone justify spending that much on a coat, especially as it would be a 'going out' coat that would only be worn a few times. Not a 'dog walking' coat that is obviously worn at least three times a day. …..................But how nice is this?


Oh well, ho hum........................ There's a couple of big 'Primarks' in Edinburgh. Lol!
