Gasworks Croft

A follow on from yesterday’s blip. The gasworks Croft referred to in Euan McColl’s “Dirty Old Town”.

National Grid, who own the site, have decided to demolish the redundant gas holders. They have funded Ordsall Community Arts to produce these information boards, now attached to the wall.

An extra:
* a Wow! moment first thing this morning, and before the fog descended. The crescent moon paired close to the planet Venus. I have never seen Venus, the bright “star” in the east, looking so bright. A handheld phone photo does it no justice, but a Wow! moment needs recording
