Sweets...

Christmas market time again in Manchester....so cold this evening. I was late getting into Manchester so decided to have some food from a couple of stalls. My main meal was a cheesy potato Lancashire hot pot with red cabbage...yum...then I decided to go for the cherry strudle with custard...it was horrible...the custard was synthetic and the cherry strudle was lardy and flavourless (I really hope there wasn't lard in it but it was certainly greasy). I still ate it though because it cost £3.50!! I had the cherry mulled wine and that was delicious. Didn't buy any of the sweets...I think you might get something like two cubes of fudge for £4. (I'm sounding like Ebernezer here, aren't I?!!).
