Countryside contrasts

Driving home along the eastern side of Lake Dunstan towards Cromwell you have to notice the contrast between the very developed vineyard on the lower slopes of the foreground to the hills of scrub.

Oh I've just noticed the flat terrace also has grapes planted. It's only the hillsides that are rough and scrubby.

Nice to be heading home though after the caravan holiday in Peel Forest, Tekapo, Omararma and Lake Middleton.
