I bought the required equipment to do this about 10 weeks ago. But since then I've not really had the time to give wire wool spinning a go. I couldn't think of a suitable place to try (another friend set fire to her leylandii when she tried!) and i don't like being in the dark by myself.

My walk yesterday took me under the A46 and the underpass looked like it would be perfect as a location, I didn't think I'd be able to set fire to a concrete tunnel. So whilst i had my sister & nephews with me I asked them if they'd like a walk in the dark to test out the new torches I'd bought them. There weren't keen to go out in the cold but once they were there they loved planing with the LED's and el wire. After playing with the lights it was time for the sparks to fly, I loved it and can't wait to try again.
