Jack and Stephen

A game of football against Rangers; we’ve been on the slide lately and haven’t as much as scored a goal in five games, so we weren’t exactly full of confidence. But we started brightly enough and even scored a goal. Naturally enough it was an own goal. Rangers, who seemed to be playing with beastly and unnecessary aggression, then quickly scored twice before being reduced to ten men. Whereupon they dominated the game to an even greater extent. It was only later I found they’d gone top of the league. For the first time ever, actually. 
Later, another first, for twas a house gig along the way at DJ’s trendy loft conversion space place. With no less than esteemed Australian musicians Stephen Taberner and Jack Sice. Esteemed certainly by their local fan club who’d turned up en masse. And actually, they’re pretty good and highly entertaining. I do believe they’ve made a date to come back in exactly one year’s time and I think the SK will have me queuing at the door to get the front row seats again.
