Meetings

First thing we drove out to Donna Nook to visit the seal colony. Fantastic.
My Ralph McTell blip led to a mini Blipmeet with martindawe. Lovely to finally meet him and if you don't follow him have a look. Great photos, often with a humorous twist and links to new and interesting music. I'm so pleased he liked Lau too!
I also ran into the former head of HR where I used to work. We got on really well and we were delighted to see each other despite the fact that I used to make his life difficult what with being president of the branch of the trade union.
Saw Julie Felix who still does a good protest number despite turning 80 this year. Then a newcomer Joe Martin and then Lindisfarne. They still know how to please a crowd.
We stuck around for the last act, Willows, but they had sound check problems and late became very late and we sneaked off home before they finished.
Friends G and D drove home after Lindisfarne and we said goodbye to other friends J and V who sensibly headed for bed at the same time.
Another good festival. More than likely we will be back next year.
