From Oman

I currently have an Omani student in my class and he brought us back a lovely sweet treat after his visit home last week. It’s rosewater flavoured with nuts, and a bit like a cross between a paste and a jelly. Delicious!

A good class tonight, they’re working well together; it’s taken some hard work but it’s now at the point where I stepped back last night and let them run the class, only stepping in where necessary. It pushes them to try harder, gain more confidence and really take ownership of their learning. And they enjoyed it too.

A good swim this morning - swam a little further and recovered more quickly. Result!
