Embracing Life As It Is

About 18 months ago, Dr Alan Gettis contacted me asking to use a couple of photographs in a book he was co-writing about Wabi-Sabi, Haiku and Zen. The deal we struck was I'd get a mention and a free book!

The book, Embracing Life As It Is arrived this morning so when we got back from shopping I couldn't resist a read - as the blipfoto shows.

It's full of inspirational stuff and advice about life. One I remember is the pointlessness of chickens in a cage fighting over a grain of seed when only hours later they will be slaughtered. Live life for the moment!

The extra shows a 'wabi sabi' tree on Eglwysilan mountaintook this afternoon as we drove to Sainsburys, Pontypridd.
