yurt tassels
My sister took M and me down to Winchester to a pop up French themed vintage shop. Are we on trend or what?
Bought some lovely fabric (breaking personal rule NOT to buy fabric until some has been used up) but it was irresistible - organza with little green flowers for a party dress for granddaughter R, some terracotta brushed cotton to make a skirt for me and a pinafore for R, and some very sweet blue cotton also for R. Shame I left it all behind in Winchester.
The yurt is part of a textile exhibition in the Discovery Centre (library to you and me). Worth a trip if you're in Winchester for the Christmas market. The ladies were charming about photography.
We left after lunch to get our eyes tested, we do the most romantic things together! Mine still ok with Tesburys style reading glasses, and M's haven't deteriorated much, but new glasses needed since he's had these 5 years and wears them pretty much all the time.
