Spitting snow this morning before turning to rain.

Much needed decompression from a few days momentous memories. A short excursion with the kids in the mountains. This photo is not completely honest.  I was menacing Mr JC with lots of high portentous threats to stay out of the rain.  The moment was stolen in any case.

Even if the calm was short lived... CC spent the better part of this afternoon and early evening in the emergency room after having a good fall at the ice skating ring. She's got a temporary cast on her hand for a week to let a bruised bone heal.  lol.  Yes, the kids are growing up!!!
