Let's go!

A change in the weather, so we're in for some sun and colder temperatures. Suits me fine.  The two girls kept running in front of their mums and looking back like they were saying, "Hurry up!  Let's go!"  One of the mums had her sleeve snagged on a twig, which might have slowed her down a bit.  :)
Very soggy in the field we often walk across, so hopefully it will dry up a bit in the next few days.
I have to cut back the tops of the beets, carrots and parsnips that are still in the beds and cover them with straw.  Had some of each a couple of days ago and they're delicious!  I expected to protect them from the cold much sooner than this, but the tops still haven't died down.  Maybe I'll get to that tomorrow.
