Pastel coloured sky

I woke this morning to an unusual glow in the sky. Within the hour the light turned flat, the mountain tops vanished and the snow began to fall. I had a lovely quiet cross-country ski early and came home to help M decorate the Christmas tree. He loves the excitement of Christmas and I love watching him get all excited about it!
