Sinterklaas has landed.

We had a great Sinterklaas today.
We all arrived in Stadskanaal at 16.45 and started with dinner. I’d cooked “snert” (Dutch pea soup) and my sister had prepared the side dishes.
After that we started unpacking all the gifts. Bas and Daan picked them from the pile one by one.

My thoughts from yesterday turned out to be true. The ideas of a ‘smaller Sinterklaas’ had all vanished. Way too much presents again.
Amongst a lot of other stuff I got a landing platform for my drone. I’m very pleased with that. Can’t wait to test it.

All and all we had a ‘heerlijk avondje’ lovely evening. Thank you Sinterklaas!!
