Festive minimalism

The Christmas decorations in the loft are not accessible to me this year so we have a (very) little fibre optic tree from Aldi and a few lights.  I think I will feel more festive when Dad is home, but I still won't be able to get the normal stuff down from the loft so this is it for this year.

Mum has reported that Dad is doing well, and we were hoping to see him tomorrow, but Dad asked to let me know they are using loads of bleach and he doesn't want me to have a bad reaction.  Even when he is poorly, he still does Dad things!
