Learn to Have an Open Mind

Go on treat yourself this Christmas and nip down to your local community centre or village hall to see what adult learning might be on offer. Some of it will be free so if you think you can’t afford it have another look.

Adults who take part in learning have been found to be more open minded, tolerant and accepting. Perhaps we should focus our energies here and learn to give a little to gain a lot! What bliss if were more tolerant and trusting!

We know that adults who are better educated are more likely to be active in their communities and give something back.

So go on treat yourself this December-a new you could be just around the corner!
