A ride on the Santa Special

Today we went with Violet and her mummy on the Santa Special, a seasonal event on the Epping Ongar Railway and a first for us.  The trip on this vintage steam train was magical (recorded in detail on FB) and thoroughly enjoyed by us all, not least by Mr MC who is very much a steam train/railway modelling enthusiast.  It may only be 2 December but I feel no shame in putting up this delightful shot of Violet and Santa Claus himself!
