Old Times

Sunday was unusual - and good. 

A reunion lunch at Café Marlayne in Edinburgh.

Ramunė, David and I did a lot of work together in the 90s to help establish a publishing programme for lawyers in Lithuania. To start with we got a grant from the UK’s Foreign Office which covered expenses. Then we ungraded to EU Commission funding which paid us (modest) fees too.

David and I had several fun - but rewarding, challenging and exhausting - trips to Vilnius on that project. 

Ramunė and David hadn’t seen each other for about 20 years. 

We had a lot of laughs and the food was good too.
