The expat Christmas lunch

It has rained solidly all weekend, so we were pleased it was the weekend to go to the expat lunch, held every year by our friends Caroline and Tony.
Fourteen of us ate nibbles, Christmas dinner with all the trimmings plus Yorkshire puddings, a wonderful cheese course and then the puds; a chocolate Christmas pudding with chocolate and cognac sauce, and/or tiramisu.
We left before the coffee and mince pies to get back for the dogs, but our tummies were too full anyway.
