Dickensian Xmas
Well a quick trip to Rochester to sample the delights of a Dickensian Xmas parade and market i the Castle grounds.
There were thousands of idiots blocking my way to the castle smiley happy xmas revellers all taking in the wondrous assortment of Dickensian characters who were found on every corner .
This particular one fascinated me greatly, I presume one of the ghosts from a Christmas Carol...he was an Alan Rickman like character who seemed to take great pleasure in his role.
On the way back "The Javelin" unusually set off late , and it was announced that a passenger had no ticket and no money. The conductor stated that they had done him a favour by offering him a £20 penalty fare, but he had refused to give details , hence the Police had been called. Happy Xmas :) hehe
All in all a freezing great couple of hours out :)
One that nearly made it to blip ...here
And lots more on the website.
Toodle pip!
