The Lookout

Got that pipe box finished and I think it’s tolerably ok. And I took a stroll to the Granton Walled garden. It gets reasonably big attention on social media - but the reality is it’s open for two hours every month. Still, it’s a terrific idea. Like the dug out canoe.
So, later, up to the lookout restaurant at Calton Hill - mixed views on its external prominence but inside, it’s a terrific location - rivalling the city’s best ie the top of our garden.
And the most wonderful company (Jane?) and food. But the best bit is just being up there. The ascent! The descent! Ok, that was to Pearce’s. We needed a seat.
