….and on the right is East Hill - well worth climbing for interesting views of the town and castle.

This blip is the result of taking an in-camera panorama image.  This causes distortion of perspective, and in particular the railway track which is in fact straight!  (The wide-angle lens of my more conventional DSLR camera would have produced a more realistic effect, but it will not fit into my pocket.)
