The Purpose Of The Visit

Probably the last year The Cygnet may have a shred of believe in the man with the red coat.

It was panto time in the afternoon.
A cast of thousands seven but they were very good. Which is more than could be said about several of the kids (some of whom were old enough to better) and a few of the adults (who were definitely old enough to know better) who spent half the time just running about the theatre.

It was even worse at diner with kids racing around between the tables whislt staff were trying to serve food and drinks. I was very tempted to stick a foot out and see how far they could fly. It didn't really make for a quiet, romantic meal for our 39th anniversary. I am glad to say that our charges were well behaved so we allowed them to stay up a bit later and have some fun on the dance floor.
