December arrives. Visit to family.

Today we drove to Bristol, about 1 and three quarter hour journey. It was raining on and off en route with lots of spray and misty conditions on the Motorway.
I was so pleased to be able to go having had to stay at home two weeks ago with a virus, whilst hubby made the trip on his own.
Good to be greeted by our 3 grandchildren. Libby, 5yrs old, had drawn us a picture, (main blipfoto)  of all the family, and had written all the names, including the cat, Momo  which she excitedly presented to us, whilst Toby, 2 and a half, hid himself for us to find,  jumping up like a Jack-in-a-Box, and shouting "Boo", (old games never die out! )  from behind the settee.
Sammy was making us  a "secret" up in their room, and came down to show us a  model he had made with a selection of cogs and wheels!
And so the day went on.
We made ginger biscuits with the three of them a bit later in the afternoon. They love baking, especially licking out their bowls.
We began our return journey when they were ready for bed and arrived home again at 9.00 pm.
Soon be time for me to go to bed!
We are just having supper.
The extra photos were taken in our favourite Gloucester  motorway services (Southbound). We always stop once for a coffee on our journey, both going and coming back.  The Christmas decorations were very welcoming.
