Spitting Image - Thatcher

While others were away to see The Harry Potter play I got to have some time in London on my own. I opted for 2 institutions. Imperial War Museum and the British Museum.


IWM

I found this to be a fascinating place, with some quite eeery items on display. Most notably to me. A V1 and V2 rocket. I saw a V2 in Everett, Washington State and to see another was quite frightening. To think they were raining down on London. 
The IWM also has some mangled metal on display. Its not till you read the sign for it you realise it's part of the Twin Towers from New York. Harrowing doesn't quite describe it.
Also Nazi artifacts were also present. 

British Museum
I thought I'd enjoy this museum with all it's artifacts. In fact it rather annoyed me with the amount of items that have been taken stolen by the British to be displayed here. I actually only stayed here for an extended period of time due to the inclement weather and my lack of planning in clothing that day. 
I would describe my state by the time I got back to our accommodation as drookit.
