Shed on parade

This morning I watched the annual Christmas Parade through the centre of Oswestry. It's organised by the Rotary Club and collects money for charitable causes.

It's always a good parade and this year was no exception with around 40 floats taking part as well as Father Christmas of course.  There was continuous drizzle but that didn't stop crowds turning out to watch.

My blip is of the Oswestry Men's Shed's entry as F is one of the members (information about the organisation is  here).  The men made it themselves and decorated it beautifully.

Other floats that I liked especially were the one commemorating Ifton Pit (extra) and one commemorating the Suffragettes.
