Stairway to Nowhere

This staircase just hangs quite lost by the side of the canal. It's blocked off from all angles but made me think of the times in life when you're climbing merrily and suddenly find yourself without another place to go. It reminded me of the importance of looking behind you on the way up and offering a helping hand to those following you, especially when they have less help than you did.
