A sad story

Today i went To Eupen by train with a black friday ticket of 5 euro. Eupen is in the east of Belgium and close to German border. The comunity speaks german language. i walked around the city znd lzter on in the forrest. I met this old man , close by the river. I asked if i could take his picture? He was a bit reluctant but he let me take just one. He s original from Bosnia and fled his country 20Y ago. He told me that he got scrapnels in his hands as a result of the then ongoing war. He lost everything . We had just a short talk and then he gave me a warm hand before leaving.
