Upper Ojai Mobile Home Park

Yesterday, our family went to the Upper Ojai mobile home park off Kanan road to bring some relief supplies. Over 100 homes destroyed, and those that remain have no power, and no indication of when it will be restored. From the fire residue, the entire area has pretty toxic air quality, and looks more like a moonscape than the beautiful area it was before the fire. Our hearts go out to all those affected - we met an amazing array of resilient folks when we went there, and saw how much the surrounding community has responded to their plight with many donations ranging from food to blankets to bicycles and everything in between. We pray God will bring beauty from ashes.
