The Yule Log

It was a cold, rainy and sleety day - picked S and the boys up from The Flotterstone where they’d finished a walk and had some lunch while we were there.

It was off the other way to ‘locals night’ at the Allan Ramsay in Carlops. This was the Yule Log filled with everyone’s hand written wishes before it got burnt. Someone said it was a Norwegian tradition, others pagan - no idea but it looked pretty and was a bit different.
