Today's the day .............................. to be confined to quarters

I was all ready to go into town to do a bit of shopping - coat on and everything.

I opened the front door and this was the view that greeted me. Then, fortunately, I looked down to see that the steps and path to the gate on to the road were covered with a sheet of ice. It just wasn't worth the risk of a fall with my new hip only three weeks old - so it was back inside for me.

Will went off on his own to do the necessary instead - and that's when I discovered that Wales v Australia was on the television in five minutes time. Ooops ................................
