Welcome or weeds?

Some people love flaxes, and some hate them.
Some people love lupins, and some hate them!

Lupins are so colourful, but they have recently been declared a weed. The lupins in the extra photo are ones between us and our neighbours. 2 of the 4 of us like them including me!), however, we are going to contain them as they do spread everywhere.

We have had warnings of electrical thunderstorms and downpours, but so far it hasn’t happened. Looking forward to going out for dinner tonight with friends from Dunedin .
