Dry Dock

Here is my model boat, now on the Sideboard in the Lounge. It is very unlikely she will ever sail again, as I always wanted a big boat and this is she. Looks nice, sails very well, not really bothered by strong winds or waves on the pond, but!! and it is a big BUT, She is big, 1 metre 30 long, she is heavy, over 14 kilos (about32 lbs in old money) and she doesn't fit in the car without having the masts and bowsprit derigged,which takes about a quarter of an hour, also she gets lots of detail damage in Transit( or my car) so not a quick nip down to the lake for a sail! I expect I may try again next summer, but it is getting to lose its interest now, must be getting old.....
